San Francisco, Calif. Crunchyroll, Inc., announced today the simulcast acquisition of Otome Yokai Zakuro, a supernatural adventure anime set in a parallel Taisho Japan. Based on Lily Hoshino¹s manga of the same time, title features preeminent Japanese voice actress Mai Nakahara in the titular role of ZAKURO. Directed by Chiaki Kon and animated by J.C. Plot Summary:
In an alternate history of the Meiji era where humans and magical beings known as "younin" live side by side, half-younin girls team up with army lieutenants to fight younin wrongdoers.
